Order confirmation 

These terms and conditions apply for Engelbrechts’ webshop. If you wish to shop on behalf of business, please contact customer service on Terms & conditions for professionals can be found here.

Orders are not finally accepted until Engelbrechts give a written confirmation. 


Delivery times 

We will process your order as quickly as possible. We have variable delivery times pending on product. Please check the individual product for expected production and delivery time. If nothing else is stated, standard production time is 6 weeks + delivery.

Engelbrechts A/S has the right to change the delivery date. Engelbrechts cannot be held responsible for any costs that may result from a delay in delivery. The delivery time is applied to all order confirmations. 



All orders from are sent as cargo. We ship by default in Denmark and all EU countries, but you are welcome to contact us on if you want delivery to other countries.

Engelbrechts A/S will ship the order as soon as possible. Note that we do not send on holidays and vacations. Weekend bookings (Friday afternoon to Sunday) are handled the following weekday.

Packages are delivered to GLS pick up point.



Free delivery for purchases above EUR 135. We ship your order to your address within the EU.


Transport Damage

If the package is damaged upon delivery, please take a photo of the damage and send the photos with other relevant information to We will then assess the damage and further steps.



All prices in Euro (EUR) and DKK include 25% VAT, unless otherwise stated. Prices are only valid in EU-countries, excl. Faroe Islands and Greenland. The stated price at the time of the booking is the current ordering price. Prices are subject to:

  • currency changes
  • force majeure
  • delivery failures
  • tax changes
  • sold out items and misprints



The possible payment methods are:

  • Visa
  • Visa / Dankort
  • Mastercard


Transportation complaints 

Claims for shipping damage or missing number of packages must be reported immediately to the carrier. You must also take pictures of the transport damage. These images as well as the signed waybill must be sent to within 7 days of delivery. 



Engelbrechts informs that all measurements are with +/- 10 mm tolerance. Complaints about defects in the product must be sent to Engelbrechts in writing along with photographic documentation within 7 days after delivery of the product. Deficiencies in the product cannot be invoked later than 12 months after delivery date. Items may be returned only after prior written agreement. 



If you choose to cancel your order, you may do so within 14 days from when you received your receipt without giving any reason, except custom-made products made especially for you, which cannot be cancelled or returned.


How to make use of your right of cancellation

You can cancel the order by noticing us thereof. Please contact us via e-mail or telephone letting us know that you want to return:

You cannot use your right of cancellation by refusing to accept the goods at delivery.


Return of cancelled orders

If you cancel an order, you must return or send you order to:

You may examine the furniture upon receipt, however if the product is cancelled and should be returned you may not start using it, or remove any stickers or hang tags. It should be returned in the exact same condition as upon receipt, and in original packaging.

All products returned to Engelbrechts, must be securely wrapped. Engelbrechts recommends that the product is returned via UPS, GLS or equivalent, and is sent as a package with a tracking number. This way, it is possible to track the package with the carrier and waives any doubt as to whether the product has been shipped to return to Engelbrechts. 



There is a 5-year warranty on products purchased from Engelbrechts A/S according to Danish Sale of Goods Act. If there is an additional warranty or guarantee, it will appear separately on your invoice. Should the goods, against expectations, fail during the warranty period, we will repair it free of charge at one of Engelbrechts subcontractors, so we shall carry the risk of deficiency according to Danish Sale of Goods Act. Damage to the product caused by operational errors, handling errors, modifications or gross misuse by the user, is not covered by the warranty.



Complaints about defects must be notified Engelbrechts within a reasonable time after receipt of the goods. The customer is strongly urged to submit a statement about the product’s defect in connection with the complaint, since failure to do so could result in an extension of the remediation process time due to troubleshooting. Remember to attach a copy of the invoice.

When ordering items in our shop, we store your name and address in our order database. These are used only to deliver your products and later in connection with any complaints.

Neither your name or address will be disclosed to third parties. The information is confidential between you and Engelbrechts A/S.



Engelbrechts A/S follows the guidelines and laws required by the Consumer Protection Agency.

Reservations are made for any typographical errors. Engelbrechts reserves the right to alter specifications, materials, surfaces and prices without prior information. There might be variations in colours shown on digital devices to the actual products. Engelbrechts can unfortunately not guarantee that all colours are depicted 100 % correct.
